Kincheloe Showing Off Her Twinkle Toes

I was born in Bismarck, North Dakota.  My husband and I have lived in Green Bay for 22 years now, where I have loved raising my 3 children while participating in civic activities and enjoying the many things the area has to offer.

I have been on the board at Northeastern Wisconsin Dance Organization (NEWDO) for the last 4 years.  We are the non-profit organization that puts on the Green Bay Nutcracker Ballet at the Meyer Theatre in December.  My husband and I feel strongly about supporting the arts in the community and feel so lucky for all that Green Bay offers.   My daughter is a pre-professional ballerina at Green Bay School of Dance, so when I got asked to participate the reason I said yes was because my daughter Abbie told me I had to do it!  I thought she would be humiliated but instead she encouraged me.  My family is so excited that I am participating, not to mention how I excited I am as well!

Describe your first dancing recollection. About how old were you and what was the occasion? The first dancing recollection I have was when I was only 4 or 5 years old dancing on my dad’s feet to Rambin’Rose by Nat King Cole!

Who is your dream dance partner? My husband, Mike, is my ideal dance partner.  I love dancing with him!

Who is your favorite dancer of all time on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and why?  Emmitt Smith because he was so light on his feet.  I want to be light on my feet!

Why support the Red Cross with your participation? Whether it has been donating blood or working at the blood drives for NHS at Southwest High School, my family has always supported the Red Cross.  It is a great organization to support so that is why I decided to participate in the event.  Plus I get to learn how to dance, it’s a bonus!

What’s your favorite song? “Your Song” by Elton John.   Besides that, I love “Help Me Rhonda”  by the Beach Boys!

Hobbies: I enjoy reading, gardening, and walking my Yorkie puppy, Murphy, who by the way has no relation to Murphy In The Morning!  I also love exercising (sometimes!) and sitting on the deck at the cottage, watching the sunset, and working part time with the girls at Besselli!
